The Events tab allows users to create products as well as root causes that can be associated with events for trending purposes.

How To Create New Products:

  1. Navigate to the Events tab, and click the "Reporting" tab:


  2. Next, click on the "Analytics" tab:


  3. Under the Analytics tab, you'll see two tabs: Product and Root Cause. Click "Product":

  4. To begin creating your first product, click the "Create New Product" button:

  5. Begin filling out the mandatory Product Name and Description fields below:


    Product Name: The option that will be selectable when adding to an event

    Description: More detailed information about the product that is being created.

  6. After mandatory fields have been filled out, click "Save":

    Your newly-created Product should be displayed in the list below:

  7. It should also now be displayed in the key of the pie chart:

    How To Create New Root Causes:

  8. To begin creating your first new root cause, click the "Root Cause" tab:


  9. To begin creating your first root cause, click the "Create Root Cause" button:


  10. Begin filling out the mandatory Root Cause Name and Description fields below:


    Root Cause Name: The option that will be selectable when adding to an event

    Description: More detailed information about the root cause that is being created.

  11. After fields have been filled out, click "Save":


    Your newly-created Root Caused should now be displayed in the list including in the root cause pie chart:
