You only need to make a document effective if you have selected "No" to the "Automatically make effective on approval?" setting on the properties tab.
To Make A Document Effective
- Click on the "Make Effective" from your dashboard.
Go to Workspaces > Your Actions > Approved
- Click on the check box beside the document name and click "Make Effective"
Click on the document name to open the document, and click the "Make Effective" Button.
- Enter your email address and password in the "Make document effective" dialog box and click the "Make Effective" button.
Note: If you use the Workspaces > Your Actions > Approved you can select multiple documents and bulk make effective the selected documents at the same time
