Benefits of Integrating with Salesforce
Centralize Customer Data: Access and manage your Salesforce customer and sales data directly within Qualio.
Automated Workflows: Automate actions based on Salesforce activities, such as creating Qualio events or updating records.
Sync Salesforce Accounts: Automatically import and update your Salesforce account data into Qualio's Resource Library.
Sync Salesforce Cases: Bring your Salesforce cases into Qualio to provide context and streamline complaint handling.
IMPORTANT: The following steps may require authentication, approval, and direct involvement from your Salesforce administrator in order to successfully set up and configure the connection. Please speak with your administrator if you have any questions.
Creating a Service User Account (Recommended)
We recommend creating a dedicated service user account in Salesforce for the integration.
Important Considerations for the Salesforce Service User:
Full Admin Access: The Salesforce service user must have full admin privileges to ensure the integration functions correctly.
Exclusion from SSO: The service user should not be part of your Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration. This helps maintain a clear separation between regular user accounts and the dedicated integration account.
This helps:
Avoid Disruptions: Prevent integration issues if a personal account used for authorization becomes inactive (e.g., due to an employee leaving the company).
Control Access: Ensure that only the intended data is accessible within Qualio by granting the service user appropriate permissions in Salesforce.
Steps to Setup and Configure
Connect Salesforce in Qualio
Once you have the app details from your Salesforce admin you can enter the relevant information (Consumer Key and Callback URL) into the Qualio integration setup.Any Quality user should see the Integrations & Imports page under the Settings navigation menu.
Select the Connect button on the Salesforce integration box to display the credential information for setting up the integration.
Enter the relevant service user authentication details as provided by a Salesforce Admin.
Salesforce will display in the 'Your Integrations' section of the Integrations tab.
Test connection/sync - You can now create a few test events in Salesforce and confirm receipt in Qualio. Validate that required case data has been synced accurately to the Qualio event. Notify Qualio engineers of any success or failures.
Creating Automated Workflows
Once you've set up the Salesforce integration, you can automate workflows within Qualio.
