Connect your GitHub repositories to Qualio to link code changes and development activities with your quality processes. This integration enables you to:
Automatically sync GitHub issues and pull requests into Qualio.
Link code changes to design controls and other quality records.
Improve traceability and collaboration between development and quality teams.
IMPORTANT: The following steps may require authentication and approval from your GitHub administrator in order to successfully set up and configure the connection. Please speak with your administrator if you have any questions.
Creating a Service User Account (Recommended)
Before connecting, we recommend creating a dedicated service user account in GitHub for the integration. This helps:
Avoid Disruptions: Prevent integration issues if a personal account used for authorization becomes inactive (e.g., due to an employee leaving the company).
Control Access: Ensure that only the intended data is accessible within Qualio by granting the service user appropriate permissions in GitHub.
Setting Up the GitHub Integration
Navigate to Integrations & Imports: Go to Settings > Integrations & Imports.
Connect to GitHub: Click the "Connect" button for GitHub. You will be redirected to the GitHub login page.
Sign in to GitHub to continue to Qualio:
Qualio will request read-only access to GitHub - click "Authorize Everworks":
GitHub will display in the 'Your Integrations' section of the Integrations tab.
