The Qualio February Launch Train introduces a reimagined Home experience, featuring dedicated My Actions and Watch List dashboards for superior task tracking. This update also debuts our Developer API and Portal, alongside expanded Export capabilities and new Compliance Intelligence analytics and frameworks.

Developer API
Qualio’s new RESTful API provides programmatic access to Qualio resources across Documents, Events, Training, Users, and more. All endpoints can be tested along with setup and usage instructions via the new. Visit the developer portal and visit Developer API help center article for more information.
API tokens: Adds a new Developer API tokens page to the admin settings that allows generating and configuring permissions for API access tokens.
Availability: Available to all users who have ADMIN permissions enabled.
Homepage Dashboard
The default dashboard when logging into Qualio has been split into two new pages under the Home menu option:
My actions: Provides visibility into all the assigned tasks and actions for the current user, including interactive filter stats for quick navigation and visibility.
Watch list: New page that provides owners of resources across Qualio increased visibility into status and progress.
Availability: Available to all users.
Exports
Change control report: Export change controls to .pdf either in bulk or individually from the Change control report.
Availability: Available to Quality users only in Reporting.
Supplier exports: Improved individual supplier export includes all supporting documents, and adds an export option to the supplier configuration.
Availability: Available to all users with Supplier access (Configuration Export available only for Quality users).
Resource library exports: Adds an export option to effective resource library templates.
Availability: Available to Quality users.
Documents
Change control export: Option to include the document’s change control when exporting. Available with individual or bulk document exports.
Require change control: Prevents sending a document for approval if the change control has not been edited.
Effective date in export: Displays the documents effective date on the header of all exported document pages to ensure traceability even if the export does not include a cover page.
Note: Cover page alignment updated to left-aligned for single document and event content step exports
Events
Multiple product and root causes: Allows capturing multiple products or root causes as part of either the event properties or within an event form step.
Availability: Available to all users with Event access and must be owner of event.
Training
Failed attempts: Adds a count of the number of failed attempts for all newly completed trainings on the Training Assessment report, and provides details on the timeline of all failed attempts.
Availability: Available to Quality users.
Audit Trail
User and filters: Adds the ability to filter the audit trail by active users or by a selected date range. Also displays the current user’s timezone offset above the date and time.
Availability: Available to Quality users.
Compliance Intelligence
Control page enhancements: Adds pages for aggregated view of all gaps and tasks across frameworks. Updates the controls list with improved filtering and visibility of definitions, evidence, gaps, and tasks.
Searchable gaps: Compliance Intelligence gaps can now be searched, smartlinked, and viewed as related records across Qualio.
Analytics: Quickly assess compliance health, identify areas requiring attention, and track progress across frameworks with Compliance graphs in Analytics.

General Q&A
Will the AI-Assistant be part of Compliance Intelligence?
We are still in a beta testing period, so the availability and pricing for the AI Assistant will be available closer to launch.
Can the auto open filter be optional in events?
We are continually improving searching and filtering capabiltiies across the platform and hope to include more control over filter defaults in the future.
For training failures, does the system automatically notify the manager or Qualio administrator after three failed attempts, or must we manually review each individual’s training record to see failed attempts?
There are no notifications surrounding this feature. The failed attempts are only available when reviewing the training report.
Can there be a way to better filter events by date open as well as date closed?
Currently events can only be filtered by creation date. The additional filter is a great suggestion that we will consider for a future update.
Can we have better colour options in Analytics?
The colors in Analytics are not currently customizable, but this is great feedback we can consider for a future update.
Any plan to implement annual training options?
This is something we hope to include in a future update, but do not have a committed date at this time.
Is there a way in Training to have different durations allowed for different plans or specific SOPs?
Training duration is controlled at the organization level and can not currently be customized per training plan or document.
Related to the Resource Library export. Do the attached files also show up if exporting into Excel? Or does this still only work when exporting individual resource items to PDF?
The exporting capabilities in this launch train are focused on individual exports of your Resource Library templates. This does not affect existing Excel exports for your Resource Library items.
Can there be a better way to dispay images rather than attachments or embedded? Something like icons and you can preview rather than downloading.
This is a great suggestion and as we continue to enhance the editing experience we can look to include better preview functionality.
Can the training report identify what specifically the trainee failed on?
The training report is currently limited only to showing the number of failed attempts along with their timestamps. However, this is a great feature request on a way to build on the improvements.
Are there plans to have the option of seting a maximum allowed attempts in training assessments?
This is a great idea on how to extend the latest improvement, however there are no short term plans to implement a maximum number of attempts.
Is the AI Assistant going to be available to all of us or is it plan-dependent?
We are still in a beta testing period, so the availability and pricing for the AI Assistant will be available closer to launch.
When these go live in March can we turn any of them off or will they all go live with no option to turn off?
The majority of the features discussed today will go live automatically. There are some updates that are plan dependent, such as the API access. Others, such as exporting a change control with a document, are optional features at the time of export. All others will be on for all accounts.
Where does the AI assistant sit? In the sandbox?
The AI Assistant is currently in beta testing, but when it launches it will be available on both sandbox and production accounts.
Is there an option for training to have learning assistance (such as dyslexia filters)?
Learning assistance options are not currently available in training assessments.
Is there a maximum number of training assessment attempts allowed?
There currently is no maximum or the ability to set a maximum number of training attempts.
Can Qualio support English/Spanish for training?
Currently the training assessments can only be created in one language. However, we are looking to build additional language support in a future release.
