The November Launch Train introduces a range of enhancements designed to elevate your quality management processes.

Webinar Q&A

Jump Ahead

General

  • When will these features be available outside of the sandbox?

    • These features will be generally available in production accounts on December 12th.

  • Any plan to integrate Labguru?

    • Labguru will not be included in this launch but is a system we have had requests for and may consider for future updates.

  • Can we change settings to receive notifications only in Qualio and not by email?

    • Yes, you can! Click the bell icon in the top right corner, then click the gear icon to open the notification settings. You can adjust your preferences for how each notification is sent.

Document Collaboration

  • Does "edit together" mean multiple people can edit a document simultaneously?

    • Yes, multiple people can now edit a document at the same time.

  • Can the document owner 'undo' edits made by an editor?

    • Yes, the owner can always edit the document and make any necessary changes. Using the "Suggestions" feature provides more control by allowing the owner to review proposed changes before they are committed.

  • The document/comment history doesn't highlight the relevant paragraph for a comment. It's unclear where the comment belongs. Also, we can't export the comments.

    • Currently, the history doesn't take you directly to the location of the comment or activity. The comment displays the commented-on text, and the activity mentions the edited section.

    • We recommend using the "Suggestions" feature to maintain control and visibility of proposed changes. This allows edits to be assessed before being committed. Once committed, the line-by-line replacements will appear in the history. You can then compare two versions of the document to see all changes.

  • Will we be able to export tracked changes to share a document externally?

    • We are gathering feedback on this but don't have a fixed timeline for implementation yet.

  • With multi-level lists, will the default still have the section number as the starting point (e.g., section 3, first point 3.1)?

    • Multi-level lists are an additional list option, separate from section lists, which will remain as they are. Multi-level lists offer more flexibility, including custom start numbering and better compatibility with copy/pasting from Word.

  • Any plans to make the document width flexible (with scrolls)?

    • We are considering this but don't have specific plans yet.

  • Is there an option to accept multiple suggestions at once?

    • We will consider this as a future improvement. We didn't offer this initially to encourage users to review each suggestion carefully in context.

Document History

  • Does document history cover only the document content, or will it also include changes to document properties?

    • Document history covers changes to many document properties and updates, such as upgrades to the latest template version, tag changes, and approver updates.

  • Does the History show only which section was edited (e.g., "Scope", "Policy") and not the specific changes made by each editor?

    • The document history panel doesn't show a full comparison of the changes. However, you can still view all changes made since the last version by comparing the current version against a previous one using the "compare against" feature.

  • Will changes made by the document owner (before others review) be visible and tracked in the history?

    • Yes, the history tracks all changes from the moment the document is created.

  • Will we be able to click on a comment in the History and see where in the document it applies?

    • We are gathering feedback on this but don't have a fixed timeline for implementation yet.

Resource Library

  • Can the Resource Library be used for housing guidance and standard documents?

    • With custom resource types, the Resource Library can be utilized for a wide variety of user needs. We encourage feedback on specific use cases and how you would like to see the feature be utilized.

  • I see empty resources in the Resource Library in my sandbox. Is there a way to prevent these from showing up? I only want the ones we use (products, root causes).

    • There is a default set of resources available to all customers, which are currently fixed. If you don't want to use a resource, don't populate it with any data, and it won't appear anywhere else in the application. Only Quality users have access to this area, so you can control what is entered. We will continue to enhance this area of the product and will consider this feedback for future improvements.

  • Can resources, such as products, be attributed to the suppliers in the Supplier module?

    • No updates have been made to the Supplier module yet. However, our planned enhancements to the Resource Library will provide more options for linking resources and suppliers.

  • We would like to be able to add tags or links to resources to Suppliers. Is this going to be possible?

    • Not currently, but we are exploring this as we add additional features to the Resource Library.

Global Search

  • Is Global Search available only to Quality Users?

    • For this launch, it is only available for Quality users. We are working on making this feature available for Basic and Normal users early in 2025.

  • Will the Search function pull up restricted content too?

    • No, Global search will not grant access to restricted content.

User Management

  • Does SSO include the ability to use SSO for e-signatures? It seems counterintuitive to use SSO if you still need to remember your Qualio password to e-sign.

    • Login can be done via SSO, but we currently require a password for e-signatures. We understand the concern and may improve this usability in the future.

  • Can you have more than one admin for the company?
