New Integrations, Document Collaboration, and Improved Data Management

Documents

  • Challenge: Our users want to bring their colleagues to where their input is needed, they want a relaxed working space for their documents and for the export of controlled copies to be audited.

  • Solution: New notification options, improved ergonomics and increased traceability.

Collaboration and Usability Improvements

What's New:

  • Mentions in comments to notify and collaborate with colleagues. The names shown are those assigned as editors, reviewers and/or approvers on the document.

  • Improved visibility of the printable space with a contrasting gray background.

  • "Back to Top" button for easier navigation in long documents.

  • Audit trail tracking for exports of effective controlled documents.

Availability: Available to all Qualio users.

Events

  • Challenge: Managing changes to event templates could be more efficient and controlled.

  • Solution: We've introduced a new event template change management process.

Event Template Change Management

What's New:

  • Create new draft versions of event templates.

  • View past versions of templates.

Availability: Available to all Qualio users with the "Create and Manage Event Templates" event user permissions.

Improved Data Management

  • Challenge: Managing and utilizing external data within Qualio could be more flexible and efficient.

  • Solution: We've enabled custom fields in the Resource Library and introduced new features to improve data management and traceability across the platform.

Expanded Global Search

What's New:

  • Global Search is now available to all user roles, with search results filtered based on user access and permissions.

Availability: Available to all Qualio users.

Resource Library & Item Custom Fields

What's New:

  • We've made it easier to access the Resource Library! You'll now find it as a dedicated link in the left-hand navigation bar. Here's what you can do:

    • Resources: Create, manage, and organize your resource items.

    • Templates: Customize your resource items with additional fields beyond the default ID, name, and description.

Availability: Resource Library features are available based on your Qualio plan. Contact your CSM with any questions.

Traceability View | "View Related Records" Icon

What's New:

  • Access a comprehensive traceability snapshot for Documents, Events, Suppliers, Resource Library items, and Change Requests.

  • View all links and relationships in the context of any individual resource.

  • Note: This feature will not be available in Design Controls for this launch.

Availability: Available to all Qualio users.

New Integrations

  • Challenge: Integrating with more external systems could offer greater flexibility.

  • Solution: We've improved the GitHub integration and added two brand new integration application in an effort to support additional platforms and data types.

GitHub Releases and Labels

What's New:

  • Include GitHub releases and labels as available fields for integration.

  • Improve data integrity and add context to events.

Availability: Available to all Qualio customers with existing GitHub integrations. For new setups, it is based on plan eligibility. Consult with your Customer Success Manager for more details.

GitLab Integration

What's New:

  • Connect your GitLab repositories to Qualio.

  • Sync GitLab issues to Design Controls, such as user needs, design inputs, and design outputs.

  • Automatically generate Quality Events and Design Control requirements from GitLab issues.

Microsoft Dynamics Integration

What's New:

  • Sync account information from Microsoft Dynamics directly into Qualio.

  • Improve tracking of customer-related events, such as complaints.

Availability: Based on plan eligibility. Consult with your Customer Success Manager for more details.

Security

  • Challenge: Weak passwords can pose a security risk to your Qualio account.

  • Solution: We've increased password complexity requirements for improved security.

What's New:

  • For accounts not using Single Sign-On (SSO), passwords must now meet the following criteria:

    • Minimum 8 characters

    • At least 1 uppercase letter

    • At least 1 number

    • At least 1 special character (!@#$%^&*()-+?_=,<>/)

Availability: This update applies to all Qualio accounts not using SSO.
